Book signings

Fun events where readers and writers can meet, talk and enjoy sharing books. Signings can happen in many different venues from bookstores to gift shops to hospitals. To schedule a signing, shoot me over an email

School Visits

Each classroom visit includes the reading of one of the books, and book related activities. Based on grade level, activities include writing, math and movement as well as a discussion of the writing, revision, and publishing process. During discussions of writing we explore how small moments in our lives can be used to enrich our writing.

Ages

  • Pre-K: One Green Tree, Ten Chickadees, A Isn’t For Fox
  • Grades K-1: A Isn’t for Fox, An Isn’t Alphabet, One Green Tree
  • Grades 1-2 or 100th Day of School: Zero, Zilch, Nada: Counting to None
  • Grades 3-6: The Call, The Dragons, and The Sword – an early middle grade fantasy trilogy
    The Marsh - a story of how friendship can soothe the pain of loss and abandonment
  • Grades 2-6: A Campfire for Cowboy Billy An imaginative and gentle way to live with loss
  • All Grades, all year My Twelve Maine Christmas Days: Can be performed for holiday programs and/or used with Maine studies

Fees

  • $700 Full Day
  • $300 Half Day
  • $100 Birthday/Special Day Visit – a one hour, single classroom visit to celebrate a child’s special day. The visit includes a signed copy of a book for the birthday child. Wouldn’t this make a great birthday gift for a favorite teacher, too? Limited to within one hour of Bath, Maine.
